Stockertown, PA Cassidy has been providing Joshua Tree with branding, graphic design and marketing services since the company’s founding nearly a decade ago. Over the years, we have developed the Joshua Tree logo and helped to establish the brand through direct mail, door-to-door campaigns, brochures, and displays.

The company, owned by Joshua Malik, is one of the most trusted tree service and lawn care companies in the Lehigh Valley. With ISA Certified Arborists and PA licensed lawn care technicians, Joshua Tree cares for an array of landscapes and lawns in a results oriented, professional manner.

Recently Joshua contacted us to give his company’s vehicles a look that would match Joshua Tree branding and make them stand out on the road the way his marketing material stands out in the marketplace. The challenge was to implement both lawn and tree services and the company’s brand to achieve mobile marketing. Now you can see Joshua Tree mobile branding in action. AACA Museum Presents “The Road to Safer Cars”
May – October 2019 (New exhibit dates)

(Hershey, PA) Since the Duryea Motor Wagon Company started commercial production of the first American automobile in 1895, it became clear that cars are helpful and convenient, but sometimes dangerous and deadly. Inventors, engineers, an actress and even dummies have contributed to innovations that make cars safer. Now the automobile world’s lifesaving innovations are being displayed and recognized at the AACA Museum’s “The Road to Safer Cars” exhibition, specially curated by Roger B. White. White acts as the Division of Work and Industry Curator at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. “The Road to Safer Cars” debuts at the AACA Museum in Hershey, Pennsylvania from May through October 2019.

First, the exhibit shows how experimental and mainstream modifications developed over decades have eliminated hazardous designs, improved driver control and communication, and ultimately kept drivers and passengers safer. In addition, the AACA Museum will highlight safety innovations introduced by Preston Tucker including the center cyclops headlight, interior crash pod, and rear engine placement. The Museum’s Cammack Gallery houses the world’s largest Tucker Automobile collection.

The AACA Museum chose Cassidy Communications to provide the exhibit’s creative direction for marketing. We are pleased to work with the AACA Museum’s Director of Exhibits & Programs Rochelle Robinson and the Smithsonian’s Roger B. White to bring the promotional creative direction of the project to life.

Previously Cassidy provided graphic design for marketing of the AACA Museum’s Route 66 exhibit, education outreach, and member communications.

Constructing concrete connections

Quick, think of a time where you’ve just met someone in a business setting. You ask the standard go-to questions every person keeps in their small talk arsenal:

What’s your name? Where are you from? What do you do?

The conversation drifts here and there – maybe other people have joined it, or you’ve digressed into other topics – but at the end, after you’ve said your quick goodbye, you’re left with only fleeting memories of the original communication. Now you’re wondering, was his name Jeff or Josh? What was the name of that company he works for? Did he ever mention his title? But like sand falling through an hourglass, as the minutes pass your recall swiftly trickles away, and becomes increasingly murky.

This is where the power of business cards still holds a dominant hand. Where human memory can fail, a business card exchange allows us to have a tangible record of who we have come into contact with in the business world. While many would argue that our digital means of communication today are much swifter, it has been proven that there is no substitute for good old-fashioned personal interaction. And let’s face it, no one can deny it is so much easier (and more professional!) to hand over a business card, than to have a potential client spell out their email address/phone number while you frantically type it into your phone.

We all know that great first impressions are the cornerstone to building superior business relationships. Thus, while technology has certainly enhanced our interpersonal communications, it has not erased the need for face-to-face, professional interactions – and business cards are the perfect finishing touch. They allow possible customers or investors to put a face to a brand, long after you have gone your separate ways. It has also been determined that the information on creative business cards is more likely to be remembered and ultimately passed on, than descriptions punched into our laptops or mobile phones. With how easily portable and accessible business cards are, you would be crazy not to have a few on hand, no matter where you go – just in case!

To sum up, business cards are still important because:

• They succeed where our short term memory fails
• They add a professional touch to first impressions
• They save time in disseminating contact information
• They keep the name of a specific brand at the forefront of the mind

Auburn, IN — We’re celebrating a great team effort. The AACA Museum in Hershey, Pa. received a National Association of Automobile Museums national NAAMY award in the Newsletters and Magazines category for Reflections newsletter. The development newsletter is designed by Cassidy Communications.

The annual NAAMY awards competition honors the work of nonprofit automotive transportation museums. The awards recognize industry leaders for achievement, professionalism and creativity. They are designed to further promote professionalism in automotive museum managerial, curatorial, educational and promotional work.

Keeping consumers abreast of company news, events and promotions is imperative. If nothing brings an organization to the forefront of a consumer’s mind, the value of social media is truly lost. Research shows that fresh news and incentives highlighted regularly through social media channels has the ability to build a lasting, positive impression on a target audience. We work with clients to prepare relevant posts ahead of time and implement them on predetermined dates. In short, we keep social media fresh and relevant.

Designing meaningful, beneficial content

To build positive audience response, creating content for social media channels needs to ensure two things. First, no matter the subject, it must always point back on the client’s specific product or service in some way. Second, it must engage the audience beyond the point of them simply scrolling past it. We positively reinforce posts to any social media channel, the audience feels a consistently affirmative connection to a company.

Ensuring customer interaction

People love to know (and often don’t) that they are heard. Keeping up with customer comments on pages or posts allows the consumer to feel that they are more than just a number, and can do wonders for building loyalty to a brand.

To gain exposure through social media, you need followers. There are many ways to build a following, but typically each falls into one of two categories. These are organic or paid advertising. After determining  what social media platforms would best further client goals, Cassidy ascertains which type of advertising will best assemble a regular band of followers. These individuals will be an organization’s biggest asset when it comes to sharing recommendations or reviews. Word-of-mouth feedback from friends and family is found to be taken the most seriously when it comes to choosing between products or services.
